Born in Brazil, raised in Bahia at the beautiful and sunny city of Salvador, Anderson picked up the bass at 13 and never looked back. With a musical path that spans pop rock, blues funk, alt rock, metal, Brazilian rock and MPB, versatility has always been at the core of his playing.

Based since several years in Germany, he is one of the founding members of Sinister Cult. To the band distinctive sound he brings not just low-end power, but also a deep feel for rhythm and dynamics, shaped by years of experience across genres. Off the bass, he also plays guitar and occasionally ventures on the drums, always chasing the balance between precision and raw expression.

Influenced by bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jamiroquai, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Angra and Charlie Brown Jr., as well as legends on the bass like Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten, and Billy Sheehan his playing thrives on energy, connection, and the electricity of live performance.

Born and raised in Istanbul, Berkay got into rock music via his father's vinyl collection. He began playing the guitar at the age of 12. His first guitar heroes were David Gilmour and Ritchie Blackmore. Later he stepped into metal music after discovering Dream Theater and Opeth.

He still sees himself as a Classic Rock guitarist rather than a metal shredder, especially when it comes to soloing and phrasing. He enjoys lots of different genres but he always hunts for melodicism, emotion and texture. He is also a big fan of concept albums. Not surprisingly Pink Floyd and Opeth are still his all time favourites.

After playing in several bands, life happened and he continued to play and write songs by himself, for himself for a while. In 2021, he moved to Germany with his wife and then 1 year old daughter. After settling down he decided to start a new band in his new home and put an ad online. That ad was the beginning of the story now called Sinister Cult.
